Flexible, from basic to high-tech machine The concept of the ALLROUNDER S machine series is modular throughout. The machine series covers the widest range of all ARBURG machines in terms of performance and universal application. With their flexible equipment, the ALLROUNDER S machines can perform a wide variety of different process tasks, with all the familiar injectable materials. Powerful and robust Hydraulic equipment options offering several different pump configurations or different accumulator technologies permit precise adaptation of the injection moulding task to the machine technology. This enables short dry run times as well as simultaneous machine movements. The ALLROUNDER S machines are extremely ergonomic thanks to good accessibility and standardised connection options. The ‘advance’ equipment package combines ARBURG energy-saving system, electro-mechanical dosage and position controlled injection for greater energy efficiency. Variety of injection unit alternatives The available injection units enhance the adaptability of the ALLROUNDER S machines thanks to various unit sizes, screw diameters, wear resistance categories as well as alternative screw geometries, including high-performance and hybrid versions. Above and beyond the standard injection control, the position control and injection process control options increase the dynamics and precision. SELOGICA control system with graphic operating sequence Through its graphics-based sequence programming, the SELOGICA machine control system, which is used across the entire series, enables the machine settings to be performed easily and intuitively via freely-combinable graphic symbols. Programming errors are prevented via plausibility checks. Peripherals can also be integrated into the control sequence. The SELOGICA ‘direct’ control system with data input via touchscreen, diagram functions and data storage on Compact Flash cards is optionally available at no additional cost. Modular ALLROUNDER S series The S machine series extends from the ALLROUNDER 170 S with a clamping force of 125 kN to the ALLROUNDER 920 S with a clamping force of 5,000 kN, whereby the modular machine concept offers a multitude of variation possibilities. The maximum shot weight is 1,860 g of PS, the maximum dosage volume is 2,036 cm³.
