Comtec IPE OverviewFounded as International Plastics Equipment (IPE) in January 1987, the company acquired Comtec Australia Pty Ltd in 2001 and became Comtec IPE. With years of industry leading experience, the founding partners and the Comtec IPE team have, and continue to, operate to the highest standard of integrity, commitment and performance. Since inception, Comtec IPE has been recognised as a “valued-added” partner; assisting clients to increase productivity by harnessing “best in class” optimised technologies, advanced integration techniques and ongoing training/ support. Comtec IPE Historic Milestones1987 - Founded as International Plastics Equipment (IPE), operating out of Adelaide office only 1989 – Integra ancillary equipment line developed 1994 – Technology partner Stäubli added 1998 - Technolgy partner Mold-Masters added 1999 – Technology partner Trexel added 2001 - Comtec IPE formed after acquisition of Comtec Australia Pty Ltd. Opening of Melbourne and Sydney Offices, Adding Arburg, Coperion and Mixaco product lines 2002 - JK Plastics Equipment acquired adding the GHS (Hahn) Automation product line 2003 - Halco Engineering Pty Ltd acquired added the representation and manufacture under license of the products of Conair Inc 2005 – Implementation of SAP business management software 2006 – Australiasian partner for Ritemp Technologies 2008 – Technology Partner Tampoprint and Alfalas added 2010 – Technology Partner Automatik Group / Maag added 2011 – Moved to new central distribution wartehouse
